BJD Shops
by GundaMaid on Feb.08, 2010, under Hobbies
Woohoo! I finally have full marketplace access in Den of Angels! I swear, the stuff they are currently selling there are so adorable >< The secondhand dolls were really selling cheaply too. I also found some indie online shops in the marketplace and some doll sites in the news forum – maybe you’d like to check them out.
Night Fall Walker (They sell punk clothes and stuff)
Usagihime (I love their wigs – they’re quite affordable too! Too bad the site’s in Chinese >< )
Blushed roses
Bloo Frog
Her Delicate Strength (I love their clothes – too bad my baby is a boy
)
Angelynx Beadworks
I can’t wait for (insert name here – yeah, he still doesn’t have a name) to arrive >< I still have more than 1 month to wait. Why do you take so long, dream of doll~~
That’s the end of my really short post for today.
Mafia Wars Best Energy to Exp/Money Ratio
by GundaMaid on Jan.31, 2010, under Hobbies
It’s been quite a while since I started playing Mafia Wars on Facebook. One thing I can say is, it’s pretty addicting! I finished all the job tiers from New York to Moscow and I’m starting Bangkok (I still have a few passports left so if you guys need some, feel free to add me up here ). As of now, I’m just leveling up my mafia, so I decided to make this quick table of the best energy to experience and money ratio for the maximum level tiers because in some cases like Moscow and Bangkok, it varies for every level of mastery(this is for those who finished every tier and just want to level up quick). Please inform me if there is a mistake in my data. This list will be updated, as I’m playing everyday. The best ratio for each job tier will be in bold.

Paypal Wishlist = AWESOME
by GundaMaid on Jan.21, 2010, under Hobbies, Ramblings
Ok, so it appears that it wasn’t a scam after all! I just received $24 from them for getting people to click my link during their wishlist promo last year. If I knew that they were seriously going to send me the full amount reflected on my wishlist page I could have worked harder and bring it up to $100 (the maximum amount)! It was really awesome of them to make this promo ><
Now that my account has about $60, I can buy stuff for my doll! Here are the things in my wishlist which I previously couldn’t afford but will now probably be able to buy thanks to the awesome guys at paypal:

MSD size Violin from Dollmore for $16 (they’re on sale)

MSD size socks from Dollmore for $3

MSD size glasses from Dollmore for $8
Damn it, I’m spoiling my doll even before he arrives! I should probably buy him a wig cap too.. Oh no! I should stop my shopping spree or else my paypal account will go back to $0! I still don’t have access to Den of Angel’s marketplace so I don’t know if these things sell cheaper there
If some doll owners would kindly comment here I would appreciate it..
So did any of you guys get money from Paypal wishlist?
World of Warcraft gold for sale
by GundaMaid on Jan.17, 2010, under Reviews
A lot of my friends have been playing WoW (or World of Warcraft) nowadays, and I just recently started. Just like any MMORPG’s, it’s really a pain in the ass to grind for levels or money. There’s a lot of equipment I need to utilize my character, but they’re all so expensive! I’m starting to get bored of killing monsters for money and I was trying to find legit ways of earning more. I happened to find a site which sells world of warcraft gold for affordable rates, so stop wasting time on your butts and visit his site. He also sells gold for other online games. So if you’re getting bored of grinding, just buy the gold because remember, time is money.
Waku Waku once again!
by GundaMaid on Jan.15, 2010, under Hobbies
I finally bought the Disgaea figures by Solid Works on their store for just P700 for 4 pieces (I saw them sell for $15 each on the net – preposterous!) and I’m just going to advertise them here once again haha. I made a multiply page for them (please view it here) in the hopes that it will increase their advertisement. So please visit it guys! They also sell Jpop CD’s and Anime soundtracks for very low prices (originally P300 but they offered it to me for just P200), along with a pen specialized for pen spinning (I didn’t even know there was such a thing). I swear, if you have the time please visit them – you won’t regret it.
Also, I’m pretty much excited about the arrival of my doll (yeah, I know it’s still months away) and I was thinking of a name for him. I also received comments from my friends that I look like him – I really can’t see how or why!!! This is what he looks like anyway:
Even my crush told me that I look like him (although I’m pretty much flattered since he’s really a pretty doll and that my crush actually bothered to think of me). The background story I was thinking for him is that we were both sad and lonely while looking for our soulmates(literally), and fate decided to pull the strings in order to make me interested in the world of BJD’s and we met each other on the Dream of Doll website. I instantly fell in love with him (call it love at first site if you want- this has some truth to it), however he was just a virtual image. Somehow, a link formed between us and he started to feel it too. He told me in my dreams (ok this is getting a bit far-fetched) that the owners of Dream of Doll can actually make him tangible, but it will take a lot of time and that I must be patient. So here I am, waiting for the doll of my dreams (literally). Maybe that’s the reason why we look alike – because we’re soulmates. There’s a saying that if you look like your loved one you will end up together. Sorry I’m not good at making stories
I hope that will suffice.
Given that background and face, what is the perfect name for my perfect soulmate? I have made a poll regarding the names I have chosen which seems to be fit for my beloved. So please help me choose ^^ My doll will most likely arrive on March so I want to be decided by then.

Hello again people! I finally paid for my first BJD (from Dream of Doll – Kirill, MSD size I think) and once I receive it I guess it will be a new hobby for me:D I just joined Den of Angels (a BJD-based forum) a few days ago and I have to say I learned a lot of new things which can be done for your doll. I was surprised at the character backgrounds they made, and was amused for the names they chose. I haven’t received mine yet (until late February or March maybe) so the only thing that’s bothering me now is the name. I’m thinking of Xerxes, Zaphaniel or Vaughn. What do you guys suggest?
I also found out more BJD stores from the forum, and I fell in love with ocean moon’s Bo-nee.
It seems that she’s unique at a height of 50cm (which, as they said, she’ll be “a kind big sister to MSD kids and a sweet little sister to SD size dolls”) since the common size is 60cm or 42cm or something. I guess she’ll be next on my list
.
Do you guys know of any BJD maker in the Philippines? I heard you can customize one but I’m not sure..
